Our Story
Reinette, meaning “little queen” in French, is also a heritage apple from Normandy, prized for its golden skin, soft pink blush, and balanced sweet-tart flavor. Beloved by pastry chefs, it captures the spirit that inspires everything we create.
Reinette Café & Pâtisserie was born from the childhood dream of Chef Jinnee Lu, who believed that sweet desserts are always tied to joyful memories. That belief continues to guide our kitchen today.
Chef Lu trained at Le Cordon Bleu Paris and Swiss Hotel Management School, and refined her craft in Paris at Le Meurice and Disneyland Hotel. Her work blends classical French technique with elegance, creativity, and a warm sense of hospitality.
Since opening our Mill Woods location in 2016, Reinette has been devoted to crafting refined pastries and artisan coffee with care and intention.

Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee
Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee is known for its unique and complex flavor profile. It is grown in the Blue Mountains of Jamaica, where the climate and soil are perfect for growing high-quality coffee beans. The coffee is also regulated by the Jamaican government to ensure that only the highest quality beans are used in production. At Reinette Cafe, we take pride in serving authentic Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee that is both smooth and vibrant in flavor.
